Mr Sim was helping his father's vegetables wholesale business since young. He started his own company by importing fresh produce from neighbouring countries.

Over 40 years later, Cher Hua is now run by his son, the second generation Mr Sim, still operating from Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre. The family has been in the vegetables wholesale business for three generations.
